Analogue
I've misplaced the remote shutter control for my camera. In searching for it I found a small slide viewer with a slide in it. After adding batteries this was what I saw. Back in the day I made a hand driven mount for taking long-ish exposures of the night sky. Realistically, with a 200mm lens, I could manage about 2 minutes without star trails appearing.
This image was taken on Kodachrome 200 in about 1982 and shows an elongated smudge which is the Andromeda Galaxy, M31. Also just visible is another galaxy, M33. Quite a nice surprise seeing the slide again after all this time!
