Blue is feeling sorry for himself

He had a lump on his ear that the vet sorted out. Unfortunately the wound did not heal and another one appeared further up his ear (he has very long flappy ears).This time the vet cut away part of his ear in an attempt to stop a lump reoccurring. His ears being big and floppy it is difficult to bandage it effectively, he shakes his head vigorously and also scratches. The buster collier helps but is not a solution, keeping the wound clean and covered is impossible. And seeing his very sad eyes watching you is also very difficult,he is in pain/discomfort and there is nothing we can do. We are only looking after him for a couple of days, his owners will be back tomorrow thankfully.
