The fairy Glen,Rosemarkie

Well a mixed day weather wise,sun,rain,wind and hail again.Luckily the wind dropped and the showers stopped for a bit while I took the Brownies to explore the Fairy Glen with the RSPB searching for signs of spring.We did see some signs but not as many as usual for the middle of May.The Brownies enjoyed searching through the mud looking for minibeasts and found quite a few.Seeing a Brownie trying to balance a great big fat slimy slug on a wood sorrel leaf was quite amusing.
Made it back to the cars as the heavens opened.The day finished with a double rainbow and a fight between a raven and a sparrowhawk,the Raven won!
