Big leaf (small bunny)

Lie in this morning - then off to Toulouse to the big careers fair with CarbBoy. Parking chaos at the entrance, with folk seemingly just abandoning their cars on the dual-carriageway a good 10 minute walk from the centre - which had me nervous about my choice to follow the signs into the massive multi-storey car park … which had about a gazillion free places, and was a short escalator ride from the exhibition centre.

Anyway, CarbBoy found the info he needed, I flirted with an apprenticeship in cooking, and there were three bars (none of which we tried).

Home via a tree nursery (closed until February) and the supermarket, and out to help Mr B with a bit of facade work. Whilst scraping a ledge, it was lovely to see our old neighbour who does facades for a living pop by for a visit, and he seemed to think Mr B was doing a good job.

Brief terrace sit to enjoy the end of daylight, then venison dinner with a fancy red from a client. Much discussion of the origin of the name Bangor, whether dragons have a wattle, and sailing across the Atlantic. And later, telly.

Tomorrow I will be mostly gardening in the rain (which may actually mean hiding indoors ordering hedges online). And with the departure of the house chef, I am likely to have to Make My Own Dinner.
