The White Cart Water

I used to live less than 100 yards from the White Cart in Battlefield. During heavy rain it would rise up far enough to actually lap over the pavement on Spean Street, and cause floods down at Millbrae Crescent.

Thankfully nowadays the flood prevention schemes along the river have minimised risk in most places, but it was still pretty high outside Pollok House today.
