You’ll light the fire

This morning all the ferries were cancelled so Alex and Ellie couldn’t come to stay. I suppose we are a little more cut off than the calm sea made me think.

This meant we had a longer morning in bed and ended up talking about potential Amsterdam plans. It’s exciting me but I also feel like I’m living in the moment which is new. This is starting to feel like ‘our house’ but I also know it’s not and that’s okay.

I used to want things to feel definite all the time but I’m getting better at knowing things change.
