Water!

We went for a walk along the canal today, we were unable to access it at the nearest point to home as the towpath was completely underwater. The canal and river Colne run alongside each other. Normally it is safe and easy to cross the river at this point, only a fool would have tried it today. The normally gentle shallow stretch of river was a raging torrent.
