Jackos falls

Dominica has so many waterfalls!

We visited 3 today in intermittent rain. The rain forest is amazing. 5 years ago the island was trashed by category 5 hurricane Maria which stripped most of the leaves off the trees and even bark. Despite this terrible devastation the jungle has largely recovered to its original state.   

Other damage to buildings and infrastructure was massive and the airport was completely blown away. It is amazing how much can be repaired in 5 years as its all largely back to normal
