Sprinkling

Light snow through the morning hours gave way to cloud in the afternoon leaving a light dusting on the lake ice. The thicker reeds had little white circles around their base which caught my eye. I liked this composition with more dense thinner reeds on the left and a smaller number of thicker ones on the right. Conversely, I think the narrow format helps to emphasize the taller vertical reeds. I get the sense of looking from inside out into the open.
