Blowing The Stink Off

"Go blow the stink off," Dad would say when we were kids when he wanted us to get out of the house and run around outside to play in the sun. (Seems counter-intuitive, doesn't it?)

But little did I know there was something actually to it.

I was in one of my doctor's offices not too long ago and I had to take off one of my sandals and it STUNK. I apologized for the terrible odor and assured him I had taken a shower that morning.

He told me that I should put my sandals in the sunlight and the stink would go away. He was right. It works!

So for the past 24 hours, I have been "blowing the stink off" of my sandals. Dad, I'm sure you'd be proud of me!
