Low Lake Level

The hot weather continues- another 30 degree day. The level of the lake has dropped a lot, and we are on water restrictions which isn’t great for our gardens.  We walked from home today, and through the cool avenue of trees at Wānaka Station Park (first extra), then back around the lake across a park to home again - the second extra shows the walk (from Jill’s watch). So an aerial view showing how close we are to the lake and town.

Jill’s teaching some friends from Dunedin how to use the BBQ for making pizzas - so a demo and tasting tonight! The pizza dough is rising as we speak, as Jill makes it all from scratch.
