Candy Flower (Pink Purslane)

Monday night, Beavers night. And a field trip to nearby Flotterstone. An appeal for a few extra parents to help out.

With this month's challenge theme being "nature", I thought it might be an ideal opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, and dropped the Beaver leader an e-mail. If he was cool with me shooting, I would help out. It seemed like a plan. He was, so it was set.

Rain has been blowing across Scotland for the last couple of days, so we were all waterproofed to the hilt. These little candy flowers were not so well-prepared though, being beaten back by the massive raindrops.
