326 day of war

Yesterday there was another large-scale shelling in the country. Most of all, attention is currently focused on the Dnipro, where a Russian rocket destroyed the entire entrance of a high-rise building. It's really terrible, even the rule of two walls stops working here, when you see that such a large-scale destruction can be caused by one missile.
I once lived in Dnipro for several years and have relatives there, so I know the city a little. The area where the rocket hit is a sleeping area, where all buildings are Soviet high-rise buildings and there is no energy or military infrastructure around. This is simply terror of the civilian population, which has been going on for almost a year and is only getting more brutal every month.
Where does so much hatred for people come from to do such evil? How can you brainwash your citizens to support such actions? It is difficult to understand how the largest country in the world can be so insatiable as to try to seize even more territories. I just don't understand what can drive a person to do such terrible things and destroy the lives of millions of people.

In the last week, I took a course in tactical medicine, there they told me some pretty scary things about how to help yourself and others from various types of injuries. When they talked about various cases that happen to people - it looks like scenarios for future night terrors. Once again, I realized for myself that it is better to try not to get into such situations when this knowledge will have to be used in practice.
Most of all, complete uncertainty about the future does not give peace. There is certainty that a new attack on Kyiv and other regions will definitely happen, but it is not known exactly when it will start and what it will lead to. There is only a feeling that it should start in the spring, so we try to appreciate every more or less calm day.

We have almost no work the last few days, so yesterday we had the opportunity to walk downtown to see the Christmas chapel with sheep. Literally an hour after that, air alarm started and I had to run home
It seems that because of this we hardly go anywhere - as soon as we go somewhere far away - alarm begins, everything closes and we have to quickly leave in the direction of the house.

Вчора у країні знов був масштабний обстріл. Більш за все увага зараз прикута до Дніпра, де російська ракета зруйнувала цілий під'їзд багатоповерхівки. Це дійсно жахливо, тут навіть перестає працювати правило двох стін, коли бачиш що може бути настільки масштабне руйнування від однієї ракети.
Я колись декілька років жив у Дніпрі та маю там родичів, тому трішки знаю місто. Той район куди потрапила ракета - то спальний район, де вся застройка це радянські багатоповерхівки та ніякої енергетичної та військової інфракструктури навколо немає. Це просто терор мирного населення, який триває вже майже рік та з кожним місяцем стає лише більш жорстоким.
Звідки береться стільки ненависті до людей, щоб робити таке зло? Як можна промити мізки своїм громадянам щоб вони підтримували подібні дії? Важко зрозуміти як найбільша країна світу може бути настільки ненаситною, щоб намагатися захопити ще більше територій. Я просто не розумію що може рухати людину робити такі жахливі речі та руйнувати життя мільйонам людей.

Я за останній тиждень пройшов курс тактичної медицини, там розповідали досить моторошні речі як допомогати собі та іншим від різних видів поранень. Коли розповідали про різні випадки що трапляються з людьми часто ставало зле, схоже це сценарії для майбутьніх нічних жахів. Ще раз для себе зрозумів що краще намагатися не потрапляти у такі ситуації, коли ці знання доведеться використовувати на практиці.
Більш за все не дає спокію повна невпевненність у завтрашньому дні. Є впевненність що новий наступ на Київ та інші області точно буде, але невідомо коли саме це почнеться та до чого призведе. Є лише відчуття що це повино початися навесні, тому намагаємось цінувати кожні більш менш спокійні дні.

У нас останні дні майже немає роботи, тому ми вчора мали змогу прогулятися до центру подивитися на різдвяну капличку з вівцями. Буквально за годину після цього почалась тривога та довелось бігти додому
Схоже через це ми майже нікуди не ходимо - тільки вийдешь кудись подалі - починається тривога, все зачиняється та доводиться швидко вирушати у напрямку будинку.
