Wild animal in the forest

Arctic Lapland Ralli was on again, on top of Ounasvaara.

I did not take a lot of pictures. I did not want to. I wanted to Experience things. Even this one is just a frame from a video a video I only made to record the sound of this thing.

And the sound perfectly summarises this car, this even and this sport. The question why you would take an F82 BMW rallying can only be answered with "Because it's fun." (or the only thing available).

A magnificently screeeaaming engine, too much power, rear wheel drive, wheelspin everywhere. - Slow. But fun! Surely to drive and definitely fun to watch.

These things are becoming rare, so i wanted to soak it all in.
