Lesson no. 4...

After a week off due to a bug, my son Ruben was excited to get back up in the plane and complete flying lesson no. 4... When they taxied to a halt here and they hoped out I got a thumbs up from Dave and thumb up from Ruben... I joined them after their debrief... Ruben did exceptionally well up in the plane... So his last 2 lessons are booked in for Wednesday and Thursday as High School goes back the following week... Ruben did all the radio calls except the one for taking off as they were taking off with a 10 knots cross wind... Then Ruben had the controls at landing but Dave's hands were hovering just incase but wasn't required... Ruben how has more reading to do before the next couple of lessons... it still amazes me how they both fit into such a small space...
