John Muir Way
Day three of our winter project - walking the John Muir way. Dirleton to Musselburgh/Fisherrrow. 17miles (ish) with the usual suspects, Gill, Jane and Karen.
A day of sea, wind, big expenses, and rainbows. The weather was much better than expected for about 3/4 of it and we all enjoyed ourselves. The last three miles were a case of "head down and get on with it!". We finished in the dark and soaked, but glad we had done it! In retrospect, we should have stopped in Prestonpans and taken the bus to Musselburgh when the weather started getting worse. Definitely type 2 fun.
We had our book group meeting and I just had the time to shower before being picked up - and still arrived late. We discussed "the Eure Affair" by Jasper Fforde. It divided opinion - some found it too silly.
