Aguille Rouge

The mountains to the North and West of Chamonix. This is the evening sunset. There is no justice, there really isnt! This morning we took the tele cabin to the top of the Brevant. at the top we skied down a blue run to a chair lift. The light was absolutely flat and we count see a thing. took the chair lift back up to the top to be grated by horizontal snow and 50mph winds. stood with out backs to it while we decided what to do. on the basis that we could not go back down on the chair life we skied down to the top of the tele cabin  and then went down in that. V disappointing. of course they wouldn't give us a refund on the ski pass. So we then took the bus over to the Planard and did a couple of runs down that before calling it a day. Sat in the apartment for a bit and then went for a walk around town, starting off in the rain which then cleared to give this beautiful sunset. heavy snow is forecast tomorrow. We shall see.
