View from the Peripherique ...

...driving back to our apartment  on the highway around Paris, after spending a wonderful lunch and afternoon with our friends Thierry and Aude and their two children. 

We always very much enjoy seeing them and only wish they didn't live on the other side of Paris. It's a long metro trip and so given today's cold weather and our still recovering from jet lag, we went by taxi.  Along the way, we saw many interesting new buildings such as here.
