Moussaka Day
A much drier day, thank goodness. The river in the village is still roaring along and flooding in places, but the water level has dropped slightly. It’s fascinating to see how the various water courses are reacting to the water pouring off the South Downs. Hard to imagine this river was a tiny trickle in the summer.
A day of dog walks and aromatherapy administration. It was a pleasing balance of physical exercise and fresh air, and sitting.
Andy spent the afternoon creating a delicious moussaka, which we’ve eaten with salad for dinner.
I’m having an early night so I can relax listening to a podcast in bed, whilst Andy catches up with football and sailing races on the television. Merlin meantime is curled up asleep under a blanket.
Best wishes to you for a peaceful evening and start to your week.
