Venturing Forth

Took my first flight in three years today - Toulouse to London - embarking on a two week book tour in the UK. I’ll not go into the litany of frustrations involved in a tiresome 9-hour journey, except to say that I’d forgotten just how awful air travel is. The compensation (almost) at the end of it, was the view from my hotel room window. I will be here for eight nights, mostly to do media, before heading off to Scotland for a series of live events.
