Wellington Church

Another of Glasgow's fine architectural examples ... the Wellington Church was built towards the end of the 19th. century, replete with a colonnade of Corinthian columns. Not because of the opportunity for alliteration, but because that was the style favoured by the Presbyterian wing of Scottish Protestantism, unlike the Victorian Gothis favoured by others.
