Shiny Yellow Architecture

One of the best things about working in Vienna is the magnificent architecture. There are countless city centre buildings with amazingly ornate statues on top, or as in this case, sculptures carved into the building itself.

You need to go large to really appreciate it, but check out the four different female figures between each floor, and the heads dotted across the underside of the roofline.And it's not unusual by any means, I've never seen a city with so many intricate buildings.

And it looks great in the evening sun, like this place from a couple of days ago.
