Dead heading

Not a good photo, but the only one I took all day. Violas in the hanging basket in the 'yard. Very cold but sunny, so I spent this afternoon outside, dead heading, pruning, and removing the leaves and other debris that's blown in from afar over recent weeks. Who knew there could be such a lot to do in such a small garden?! Finally came indoors when it was too dark to see what I was doing!

One of MrM's delicious curries for our evening meal - potato, chickpea and spinach. Then an episode of 'Happy Valley', the first live TV we've watched in a long time. Having caught up with Series 1 and 2 and the first 2 episodes of Series 3 on catch-up, we've found it so gripping that we just had to watch the latest episode tonight!
