BRRRRRRR!
Kinda cool for a nice swim. It's Mono Monday and the Challenge is "Light and/or Dark." I believe I see both light and dark in this image.

It's a cold windy day along Lake Winnebago and the spray off the water has frozen into icicles everywhere along the shoreline.

EXTRA: Just a wider perspective of the icing that is going on. Most every tree near the shore has a similar coating of ice.

Lake Winnebago is the largest inland lake in Wisconsin. It's about 60 miles (96+km) long north to south and 20 miles (32+km) wide east to west at its widest. Basically, it's just a widening in the Fox River and has an average depth of only 6 feet (1.8m) with the deepest holes being around 20+feet (6m). Being so shallow, the winds can whip up some pretty large waves in a short period of time. I've seen it go from glass calm to waves over 2 meters in 20 minutes....all depends on wind direction and speed.

It boasts the largest inland population of Lake Sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens) in the world. Fantastic fishing for Walleyed-Pike (Sander vitreous) and all manner of bass and panfish. It's a world-class fishery.
