Sail on by....

We missed out on the snow, but we got the rain and cold temperatures! Very tempting to stay indoors today but we had some errands to run and also went for a wander round B&M to look at paint colours as we're having our hallway decorated next week. We're still none the wiser!!  But we did leave with 3 planters for the garden which I'm hoping to put some bamboo in! Another job to hopefully tick off the list of things that I've been planning to do for ages!!

We then stopped off at the nature reserve for a 'refreshing' walk but the birds had the right idea to stay well hidden, other than some long tailed tits who were too busy to pose!  Nice to glimpse the Thames Estuary though and watch this container ship glide by on its' way to Tilbury.
