The dropped stitch

At the gates

A day of many steps, with cold feet and fingers.
Very few people are back at work but we meter readers have been instructed we MUST be.

2 snaps to record this day in and around Lerwick.

The extra, at the Marina Business Park, I had to stop and photograph, for its ingenuity and quirkiness.

There are four identical stone carvings like this, two each at the entrance to the Flower Park and two just across the road, at the gates of the playpark.
Opened in 1953 by the Duke of Edinburgh the park's official name is King George V Park.
