A welcome visitor

As I was doing a few chores in the kitchen this morning, the bird feeders were very busy, and we even had a few chaffinches wandering around the lawn.

It's a long time since I've seen a song thrush anywhere near the garden, so it was lovely to see this one spending a bit of time on the fence, before going down into the orchard to search for food amongst the leaves.

We've had a light dusting of snow this afternoon, but it hasn't settled.
