Breakfast time crafting

I gave F a knitting loom set for Christmas and her first completed item is this hat for one of the dolls. At the breakfast table we set about making a bobble.

It was lovely to share in her first experience of that process - the seemingly endless winding of wool, wondering what the end result will look like. Will it work? (Does Nana REALLY know what she is doing??).

But yes!! She does! And the bobble is perfect. F enjoyed the trimming process, like cutting hair, cutting off all straggly ends and trying to make a smoothly round bobble. Then photos to show our achievement. Both very pleased with the result.
