Puddle Pup

This Seal pup featured in my post on 8 Jan 23 (well, I think it is the same one.) His/her white coat has virtually gone, to be replaced by the characteristic grey coat which gives this seal its name (Grey Seal). It has been nicknamed Puddle Pup by the Wardens as it was born on the dunes and spent the first few weeks of its life on the main Norfolk Coast Path, about 300m from the sea! This one is about 6-7 weeks old now and is ready to head to the beach to learn to swim and feed itself. Only problem is, it has never seen the sea, all it knows is muddy puddles. It has been well fed by Mum so his chances of survival are good.
