Glorious

A frustrating day today; all the way over to the far side of Cumbria to discover our 'partner' organisation had put another event on the same day. I've broad shoulders (& I'll still invoice it) but I really felt for the volunteers sat in an empty building. Seems a bad outcome for participants who could have had activities on two days. I won't get far making an issue of it though as the other activity is delivered by the MD's partner. 

Did mean Missy got walks at Coniston and Elterwater as I took a circuitous way home, had to stop and help where a car had skidded into a wall on black ice... Then 4 of us had to reverse about quarter of a mile down a narrow icy road till we could turnaround and detour, anywhere the sun hadn't touched was treacherous.
