Daffodils at the top of the lane

My birthday today!  I tend to forget about it as it is a reminder of the years rushing by ....  Other people remember it and I had a surprise visit from an old friend and a telephone call from another and cards from others which are all very much appreciated.

T was busy with the cattle.  Today was the first day of the TB test, it went smoothly and the cattle behaved.  One of the vets used to come out but  no longer as now they have TB testers whose sole job is to inject the cattle on  the farms and  then measure the bumps after a couple of days when the animals have to line up and go through the cattle crush again.

K brought the children over after school and we had birthday cake and family time together with T joining us. (T and K had taken me out for a meal over the week-end).
