Winter color splash

It snowed last night and today. It was enough for BB to shovel and to make her very happy the day before flying back to California. She also walked through the woods and went tubing with Nora and Hunter. You can see the kiddos suited up for the fun in the extras.

We have 4 amaryllis bulbs in bloom. My favorite one is the red and white bloom coaxed into flowering again in my blip. The white orchid is still in full bloom since September and there is a flower spike on another smaller plant. That is exciting in the dark days of winter.

For the Record,
This day came in snowy and cold. We made sure the birds and beasties were fed and relaxed on BB's last full day here. California has had horrific weather, but she lives in an area without a lot of flooding damage, hopefully the storms will subside  soon. Mother Nature is not happy with us all.
