Hudderstone
As it was cold and sunny we decided to go up a Donald near Biggar. There had been a little show in Edinburgh and there was a cover all the way to Culter where we drove upto Culter Allers Farm where we parked. There was a reasonable cover of snow but the going was slow as the snow was very variable; sometimes we sank in and other times stayed on the surface. It was windy so there was a lot of spindrift and most was as we approached the top. The blip is the view of the Spindrift just below the top. The extras are a view across to our ascent ridge on our way down (in the shade) and a panorama (also on our way down) from Culter Fell on the right to the glen.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is Grouse wing impressions.
