At How Caple: true blue....bells..x

A blanket of blue. An unmissable sight. A fairy woodland. The tiny curly iridescent blue petals are something truly magical. The flower petals are actually purple, but are painted with blue stripes. It's the blue stripes that light up, because the flower petals are so thin that the blue is the colour that strikes out on the green forest floor.

I took some close ups too of the stripes, the heavy rain made a mess of my lens but created stunning drops on the blue stripes. How lucky and unlucky too. It's a storm outside. I hope the fairies in the forest haven't been blown away x
