Borrowed

Bit of a slow start but then spent the whole day at P’s sorting stuff. Lots of frustrating phone calls with banks and social care, moving furniture round and into the garage to make room for the new recliner chair, cleaning (again!), shopping, cooking and sorting old paperwork and emails. Just kept pushing through and got a lot done. P had decided to stay in bed to keep out of the way of the new chair’s arrival and we had some nice chats as well as him doing some reading and snoozing. He was on good form, and for once found his confusion about one account (credit card he thought was a savings account) more amusing than upsetting.
Unfortunately the chair didn’t arrive til late in the day so he didn’t get to try it but is looking forward to doing that tomorrow.
Home and T made a lovely creamy chicken and broccoli pasta supper then we played scrabble and I won for a change - judicious use of Q and Z helped!
K let me know she’s still feeling bad but at least now has antibiotics after her delayed GP appointment. Hopefully she’ll be on the mend soon.
