Today, the Bosphorus Straits are open again after a grounded freighter closed the 19 mile (30 km) stretch of water for a number of hours yesterday.The waterway is particularly important during the war in Ukraine as it provides an outlet for foodstuffs to make it from Ukraine to the rest of the world. Yesterday's freighter was carrying peas.
