Scottish Water are renewing the water mains piping in some parts of the village (of Munlochy), so a bowser and bottled water has been provided for any short periods of disconnection.

Don't know if the pipes being replaced are of the old lead variety, but the changes are unlikely to affect where I live.

Surprisingly productive day for me. Finished off all sorts wee bits and pieces. Even serviced the lawn mower, and gave the lawn* its first cut. So nothing exciting this weekend...


* I use that term loosely. It's mostly moss and weeds, with a little grass.
