(M)ice and (delivery) men..

The best laid plans....

You can tell I don't usually drive to work as by the time I'd scraped the car, outside and in, this morning the shopping delivery had turned up (minus about 20% of the order but thats another story), moved his van as he was blocking the drive (unnecessarily as it turns out) delivered the shopping, had a chat and left again before I was ready to go. Only 15 minutes later than planned and therefore missing the sweet spot of post commuter traffic and pre school run.  

It hasn't been much above freezing all day up here (in the middle of that well known Northern county of Berkshire) either. The photos are taken at 4:30 pm and the frost hasn't cleared all day.  It makes a nice change from the rain, I do like a cold, crisp day.
