Scrivelsby Estate

Home of the Queen's Champion. The Twinning party were privileged to be invited to have a walk around the estate belonging to Colonel Dymoke at Scrivelsby just outside Horncastle. Gail Dymoke led us round and gave us a highly interesting and potted history of the Dymoke family heritage. She also allowed us to wander round her house, eat in her dining room and drink her wine too! She even baked us some chocolate cakes! I think these logs were hanging about seasoning or something.
