Icy overnight then snow between 6 and 8 am. It didn’t settle on the roads or pavements.

I abandoned my walk down the hill after an unexpected, but fortunately controlled, slide on the road. Once the sun had softened the ice on the car windscreen I drove down for some grocery essentials. Put the shopping in the car then walked along to the Bridge House for a blip.

The shady areas stayed icy all day.
