Not Boat but a Great tail

These boat tail grackles strut around as if they own the world.

According to Cornell, Boat-tailed Grackles are a strictly coastal species through most of their range; however, they live across much of the Florida peninsula, often well away from the immediate coast.

Apparently this proud fellow perched in a Southern Arizona tree, is either lost or on vacation.

[edit] Upon further research, I find that the Great tail Grackle is common in our area.
