BEAUTIFUL TULIPS
I know it’s not Flower Friday, but I wanted to Blip these beautiful tulips anyway. I’m feeling a bit tired after yesterday’s long walk and as I have another busy day today, decided to do my Blip early.
We have had a dusting of snow and it’s looking very pretty as the sun is shining, but hope it won’t last for too long, the snow that is, not the sun because I need to go out to meet a friend for coffee later.
I am reading a new book I treated myself to called “Abba’s Child” by Brennan Manning and recommended by a Blip friend (but I can’t remember who) - it’s one of those books that needs peace and quiet so that what’s written can be taken in and understood; that means housework may be neglected again!
I thought the style of the front cover looked familiar - it has been drawn by the author and illustrator of “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse”, Charlie Mackesey - and is such a tender picture - see extra. I think I’m going to enjoy reading this - so thank you to the Blip friend who recommended it - I hope you know who you are!

to love books.”

P.S. Thank you for all your kind comments on yesterday’s Blip - all of which were much appreciated.
