A near miss

This tree narrowly missed me and Jimmy when it fell a couple of months ago. We had just walked through this patch of woodland when there was this crashing sound close behind us and this Crack Willow was laid on a slant across the path. Definitely a very close shave and there had been no warning sounds at all!!! It has now been tidied up and sections of the branches laid to one side as a haven for wildlife. I have made it my entry for today's Wide Wednesday challenge, though I don't think it qualifies as Minimalist. I have added an extra of my dog, Jimmy, wearing his new, cosy winter weight jacket; only to be used when the weather is particularly cold.
