Statue of William Van Horne

This statue made a brief appearance in a photo a few days ago. This is in the middle of the traffic circle at the Banff Springs Hotel. William Van Horne was the president of the Canadian Pacific Railway and the one who started everything. He saw the tourist potential in the Canadian Rockies and built the hotel to help fund the railway. In this statue he is pointing to his hotel.
