This goes back to about 1980 when I lived in Ashland and had lots of visitors. This time it was my three younger sisters (Karen, Barbara, Becky), their friends Sarah and Phil, and my housemate Davia. Sarah drew the picture on an old slate and I've had it ever since. Looks like photography, a picnic, a visit to the Jacksonville Cemetery, sunbathing, someone had a guitar, and there's the house, too. Someone gave me a mug with an M on it that I had for years and years.
I've taken more than one picture of it, figuring it'll get smeared one of these days, but it's still intact, and I can't seem to part with it. Taking pics of things is a good way to let go of too much stuff, though; stuff you cling to for years, and then the picture can languish in the cloud and you have room in that box or shelf . . .
