The Transporter

After finishing a fairly frustrating day on site I decided to make a stop at the nearby Teesside Transporter Bridge. A few months ago, I'd never heard of the bridge but I've been to Teesside so much of lately, and seen the bridge on the horizon so often, I thought I'd better go and take a look.

It's certainly the strangest looking bridge I've ever seen, has more in common with a ferry than a bridge. It might not be quite as grand as the Forth Rail Bridge, but still very impressive.
