Freezing and sunshine !!

Today our eldest daughter turned 35 and we wanted to make it a nice day together. But this morning she called that she got sick. Because we were actually ready to leave, we went out just the two of us. Here you can see the frozen pond in Meersen that we walked through for a while.
Then we went to Valkenburg for a cup of coffee with something delicious and we bought a nice bouquet of flowers for the sick birthday girl. We went to bring this by to brighten her up a bit. Not fun if you wanted to make it a nice day. But we'll catch up, we agreed.
