Four Tons of Bronze

Took a visit to the Hoover Dam on the way in to Las Vegas; very impressive and a great feat of engineering. The picture is one of two sculptures entitled " The Winged Figures of the Republic" and are made from four tons of bronze, and sit on the Nevada side of the dam. Rubbing the feet of these is said to bring good fortune, we'll see.
