2944. OOPS….
We spotted this the other day and looked today to see if the rest of this boat was also on the beach…which it was and spread over a large area. Apparently there were some severe storms in November here and this boat seems to have been a casualty.
I don’t usually do the derelict Sunday challenge but I thought this one fitted the bill so I will tag it for next Sunday’s challenge!
Cooler again today but no rain so far and the sun is shining but it’s till quite windy. We have decided to wait and see before booking a ferry to Fuerteventura so we will maybe go on Saturday.
Just relaxing after lunch..my youngest is back at work after being floored with that awful cold bug that’s doing the rounds. He sounded awful when he phoned yesterday plus it’s been so cold…Our house temperature dropped to 12 degrees yesterday (we can see it on the Hive app) so goodness knows what his flat is like and with storage heaters that are too old and too expensive to use he relies on a fan heater…he must have been frozen. Maybe one day soon the government will realise that their policies are going to cause people to die of hypothermia in this weather and with electricity so expensive when you have to use a prepay meter it’s no wonder that he uses his fan heater sparingly. I just despair of where we are as a country as no-one seems to care about people on limited incomes.
