Beaver Pond on the Thaw

I was exploring another nearby section of the Barrens on this morning, as my husband jogged through. The snow is gone from the woods and the ice is melting on the ponds. All of my puddles are water again, no more ice abstracts. Above is a shot of one of the beaver ponds, surrounded by evergreens. The pond in front of me was clear, but the one in the distance was still mostly frozen, but thawing rapidly.

I need a soundtrack song, and since this was the best song I heard on this day, here is a song for our ice: Great White, with Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You. It is simply one of the best Led Zep covers I have EVER heard!
